With electronics, everything is analog. With high-speed digital signals we become concerned with terminating balanced controlled impedance differential circuits, bit error rates and eye diagrams. Sensors require preamplifiers, buffers and drivers to drive ADC inputs. Wide bandwidth is often required where component selection and layout optimization are critical.
Optical sources including laser diodes need drivers, often with high current and fast rise times. We recently built a high speed laser diode driver with <1 nsec rise time. Low light level detection often requires both high gain and high bandwidth transimpedance amplifiers. We have designed preamplifiers for APDs and PMTs.
We also have extensive experience with high fidelity audio amplifiers, e-fuse circuitry, and lots more. We even handle vacuum tubes. Analog is our game.
